University Police and Public Safety is responsible for the protection of and service to Penn State’s students, 教师, 工作人员, and visitors. In addition, University Police and Public Safety is charged with the protection of property and maintenance of order as well as the enforcement of both the laws of the Commonwealth and University regulations.
The University Police and Public Safety department at Brandywine consists of a supervisor, five full-time police officers, and one part-time security officer. Departmental 工作人员 provides the Brandywine campus with police and public safety services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

University Police and Public Safety at Brandywine is located in the Commons/Athletic Center, room 101. In case of a campus emergency, please call 911 immediately.
The supervisor and all police officers are graduates of a certified police academy approved by the Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officers' Education and Training Commission. All members of the department are commissioned under state law and have the same authority as municipal police officers in the Commonwealth; have completed annual training requirements established by the Commission, which addresses changes and revisions to the Pennsylvania Crimes Code and the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code; and maintain current certification in both first-aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Periodic in-service training is also provided in subjects directed toward the specific needs of the campus.
A cooperative relationship is maintained by University Police and Public Safety at Brandywine with the Pennsylvania State Police, and various other state and federal agencies. Some of the benefits of these relationships are interaction in various training programs, the use of joint radio systems, coordination of coverage for special events, and most importantly, a mutual effort when investigating serious incidents.
